The Corps Network’s Board of Directors Welcomes Stephanie Davison and Carlos Monje as Co-Vice-Chairs
Washington, DC – The Corps Network is pleased to announce the recent election of Stephanie Davison and Carlos Monje as Co-Vice-Chairs of The Corps Network’s Board of Directors. In this role, they will assist the Board Chair in engaging members of the Board in key activities and providing support and guidance to The Corps Network’s staff.
These appointments mark the first time in The Corps Network’s history that there are two Vice-Chairs. The Board of Directors voted to expand the Vice-Chair position to enable additional Board members to take active leadership roles in subject areas where they have particular knowledge or skills.
“The Corps Network is a successful, high performance organization making a difference across the nation by championing youth service in key fields, including conservation, and contributing meaningfully to building better communities,” said Derrick Crandall, Chair of The Corps Network Board of Directors. “The Board is committed to an active role supporting our outstanding staff and remarkable members. As a team, Carlos and Stephanie will join me in effectively using our Board’s diverse talents, experiences and connections, individually and collectively. Both Stephanie and Carlos will be playing central roles in the Board’s annual retreat, taking place this month.
“I am thrilled to welcome Stephanie and Carlos as Co-Vice-Chairs of our Board of Directors. We appreciate their willingness to share their time and insight for the benefit of The Corps Network and the national Corps community,” said Mary Ellen Sprenkel, President and CEO of The Corps Network. “Both Stephanie and Carlos bring years of experience and wisdom to our Board and a passion for social justice and youth development. We are grateful to have not one Vice-Chair to provide expert guidance and inspiration, but two.”
