The Corps Network Partners with America250
The Corps Network joins the America250 campaign as an official partner to encourage service and celebrate America’s 250th anniversary.
Washington, DC – The Corps Network is proud to announce its participation as a supporting partner of America250, the national initiative commemorating the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence in 2026. Through this partnership, The Corps Network will help elevate national service and support the engagement of young adults and veterans in service, contributing to a historic, nationwide movement of civic participation and volunteerism.
America250 is a nonpartisan, nationwide effort to reflect on America’s shared history, celebrate the people and places that have shaped our country, and inspire Americans to imagine the nation we want to build for the next 250 years. A key pillar of this campaign, America Gives, aims to make 2026 the largest year of volunteer service in U.S. history by mobilizing individuals and organizations to give back to their communities.
Corps have a long and proud history of strengthening communities and stewarding public lands, dating back to the Civilian Conservation Corps of the 1930s. Today, Corps programs continue that legacy by providing hands-on service opportunities, workforce training, and career pathways for young adults and veterans in fields such as conservation, disaster response, infrastructure, outdoor recreation, education, historic preservation, and more.
“Service has always been at the heart of America’s story,” said Mary Ellen Sprenkel, President and CEO of The Corps Network. “By joining America250 and supporting America Gives, we are uplifting the work of Corps programs nationwide and recognizing Corpsmembers as a driving force for unity, resilience, and progress in our country.”
As our nation approaches this historic milestone, The Corps Network and its nearly 140 member Corps organizations will help demonstrate how national service brings Americans together to serve their communities and country.
