Utah Conservation Corps
FOUNDED IN: 2001 | ACCREDITATION STATUS : Fully Accredited
MISSION
The mission of the Utah Conservation Corps (UCC) is to develop the conservation leaders of tomorrow.
DESCRIPTION
The UCC is a non-residential AmeriCorps program composed of AmeriCorps members, staff, and partners dedicated to service to our community, environment, and regions requiring disaster response efforts.
We offer opportunities to serve on one of our field crews or at one of our non-profit host sites. Our field crews work at project sites to improve the quality of the public lands, to improve and restore habitat, and to build and maintain trails. These AmeriCorps positions range from a 3 to 10 month commitment. We also have individual placement members who serve with one of UCC's many non-profit partners engaging in environmental education and community volunteerism. These positions have varying time commitments.
