Join AmeriCorps Alums.
AmeriCorps Alumns is a national network that connects AmeriCorps alumni to resources that support their lifetime of service.
Communicate your service experience to find a job.
You have done so much in your time of service. Now it’s time to take what you learned and use it as the stepping stone to your next experience. Use these resources to help develop your talking points, expand your resume, prepare for an interview, and more.
See Job Boards and Searches.
Take desirable skills and diverse experiences to a new role after serving with AmeriCorps. You can search some resources (for members and alumni) looking for the next step.
Use your Segal AmeriCorps Education Award.
After successfully completing your AmeriCorps term of service and enrolling in the National Service Trust, you are eligible to receive the Segal AmeriCorps Education Award. You can use the award to repay qualified student loans and to pay current education expenses at eligible institutions of higher education and training programs.
Check out Schools of National Service.
Colleges and universities across the country acknowledge the value of service by joining Schools of National Service. These schools offer education award matches or other financial incentives to support AmeriCorps alumni. They can also recruit from our pool of driven and civic-minded alumni.
Segal Citizen Leadership Program.
Fellows take part in a first year citizen leadership curriculum, join in lifelong professional development and networking opportunities, receive mentorship and coaching, and engage actively in both their peer cohort and the larger network.
Share your Story.
Submit your service story directly to AmeriCorps and you could be featured on americorps.gov
