National Service and Conservation Corps Day

June 14

National Service and Conservation Corps Day

June 14, 2024 will mark the second National Service and Conservation Corps Day! #ServeOutdoors

June is Great Outdoors Month: a nationally-recognized celebration of America’s public lands and waters and the many ways to enjoy them. Held in recognition of Great Outdoors Month, National Service and Conservation Corps Day seeks to:

  • Celebrate everything that Corps programs have accomplished for our country over the past 90 years.
  • Show gratitude to Corps alums, as well as the young adults and veterans actively serving in Corps and helping improve our communities, lands, and waters.
  • Raise awareness about Corps and the importance of national service programs in helping maintain our public lands and waters. We can always use more support for the work Corps do to empower young leaders and build a more sustainable tomorrow.

There will be opportunities to get involved on social media.

Great Outdoors Day of Service

Join us June 14 to #ServeOutdoors and celebrate National Service and Conservation Day

Since 2014, The Corps Network has celebrated Great Outdoors Month with our Great Outdoors Day of Service. Young adults from Corps throughout the East Coast, as well as many friends and partners of the Corps movement, come to the DC region to participate in service projects at iconic parks in and around the Nation’s Capital. Our 2024 Day of Service will take place at Fort Washington Park, just outside Washington, DC.
