Position Description :

The Michigan Corporate Social Impact (MI CSI) Network Coordinator will be responsible for implementing a state-wide plan to help the Corporate Network make an impact in communities throughout the state through both philanthropic support and engaging employees in volunteer efforts. This is a remote contractor opportunity.

Job Duties :

The Contractor deliverables are as follows:

  • Implement the MI CSI Network goals and objectives to meet state-wide community needs
  • Create and implement systems to manage and support the Network in the upcoming year
  • Expand the Network membership recruiting organizations, corporations, and businesses
  • Help plan and support virtual and in-person Network meetings throughout the state
  • Organize and conduct trainings, webinars, and workshops to support Network members
  • Create and support a skills-based volunteerism program utilizing a technology platform
  • Support a board connect platform to allow employees to serve on nonprofit boards
  • Develop systems to maintain communication with members of the Network
  • Gather, track, and report volunteer and philanthropic information gathered from Network members
  • Create and assist with implementing a funding and sustainability plan to maintain the Network

  • Associate (Preferred)
Competencies
  • Knowledge of corporate volunteer and philanthropic efforts
  • Strong project management skills and able to work autonomously
  • Experience with strategic plan development and implementing goals and objectives
  • Strong organizational and data management skills
  • Willing to take initiative on projects and work creatively
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Skilled in using Microsoft Word/Excel/PowerPoint, meeting and communication platforms (i.e., MS Teams, Zoom, Basecamp, etc.), social media platforms (i.e., Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, etc.), creative software (i.e., Adobe, Canva, etc.)
