Our Impact FY19

Celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Earth Day

Join the Global Movement

April 22 marks the 50th anniversary of Earth Day. The Corps Network is partnering with Earth Day Network to mark this exciting occasion.

Responding to COVID-19: Earth Day Going Digital

Earth Day Network and The Corps Network initially partnered with the goal of supporting Corps across the country in hosting or participating in Earth Day events. However, due to the coronavirus pandemic, community cleanup events and other in-person Earth Day activities are not possible. Instead, we join Earth Day Network in promoting their digital Earth Day campaign.

Each day leading up to April 22, Earth Day Network is posting 22 small actions we can take at home and in our lives to make a difference for the Earth.

EARTHRISE is a “global digital mobilization to drive actions big and small and give diverse voices a platform to demand action for people and the planet.” Over the 24 hours of Earth Day, the EARTHRISE campaign will fill the digital landscape with global conversations, calls to action, performances, video teach-ins and more.

Rescheduling Events

Does your organization plan to reschedule your Earth Day event for later in the year? Once it is safe again to hold in-person gatherings, we’d like to hear about your plans and help share your successes. Please contact Hannah Traverse and Sydni Dobson.

The Corps Network and Earth Day Network plan to collaborate again in engaging Corps in future celebrations, such as National Cleanup Day, National Public Lands Day, and Earth Day 2021.

Stay safe.
